Amazon purple power
Acai is a small, dark purple berry of a palm tree that grows throughout the tropical regions of Central and South America. It has a flavor that's somewhere between chocolate and wild berries, and its abundant (and super healthy) omega fatty acid content gives acai a unique and creamy texture. Acai has a high antioxidant profile found as well as protein and fiber which help to keep you feeling full throughout your day.
- How to use it
Product of Brazil
Throughout the dense rainforest of the Brazilian Amazon, 25-foot tall palm trees (of the Euterpe genus) grow along the tropical floodplains. The versatile acai palm tree has been cherished for centuries because it provides more than 20 uses. They are routinely climbed by the Caboclo populations who rely on the nutritious acai berry as a staple food prized for both culinary and medicinal uses.
Navitas Naturals Acai Powder is made from hand-harvested acai berries that have been freeze-dried and low-temperature milled to retain all the nutritional benefits and flavor.

The Power Of Acai
The deep purple hue of Navitas Naturals Acai Powder indicates that it is an abundant source of powerful antioxidant polyphenols and flavonoids. Acai is loaded with healthy monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids, protein, fiber and other essential nutrients that make the acai berry one of the most nutritious foods on Earth.
In addition to acai's many health and nutrition attributes, the sustainable harvest of the berry provides many social benefits throughout the supply chain. The eco-friendly harvest of acai generates income for local communities and is a viable economic alternative to cutting down the trees in the Amazon. The indigenous communities who live in the rainforest depend on natural resources for their livelihoods and for their own sustenance.
The Amazon rainforest plays a major role in the global climate and is home to 1/3 of the planet’s biodiversity and discharges 1/4 of the Earth’s fresh water. The unique root systems of the graceful palm trees naturally protect soil from erosion. The safe and sustainable trade of ingredients from the Amazon is important for our future.

Acai Powder: Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are the servings per container accurate on the Acai package, sometimes the Tbsp count seems to be different when I measure it out?
A: Our organic, minimally processed Acai can vary in moisture from batch to batch and even bag to bag. We list household servings such as ‘Tbsp’ on our packaging for convenience, but cannot guarantee that the servings per bag will always be reflected in these units. Household servings are measurements of volume and because Acai varies in moisture content, the total volume of a bag is not always consistent. We recommend weighing our superfoods for the most accurate and consistent servings. We do guarantee that there are as many servings by weight as stated on the back of each bag. i.e. 15 x 3g servings / 4oz Bag.
Q: Why doesn’t the Acai powder dissolve into my drink?
A: By nature, Acai Powder can be gritty and partially insoluble. Although it blends very well in smoothies and adds a nutrient dense punch to beverages, some parts of the berry are less soluble than others. It is normal to have some dark purple sediment at the bottom of an Acai rich smoothie or beverage.
