Our hand selected, top-quality cacao beans are the foundation for Navitas Naturals Cacao Paste. Sourced from Peruvian cacao farmers known for strict organic growing and processing practices, our cacao beans are extracted from the ripe tropical cacao fruit and washed with purified water before low temperature processing. Each whole bean is peeled and cold-pressed into the liquor paste after a fermentation process to remove bitterness.
