Nori Millet

savory side dish

A toothsome and savory side that can be served along with vegetables, used as a filling for a wrap, or enjoyed on its own as a light lunch.


1 Cup dry Millet
1 Tbsp Yellow Miso Paste
2 Tbsp Hemp Oil
1 Tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar
2 Tbsp Navitas Naturals Nori Powder
2 Green Onions, sliced thin


Wash the millet to remove any grit. Transfer to a dry skillet and heat over medium for 2-3 minutes until fragrant to lightly toast the grain. Spoon the millet into a medium pot, add 2 cups of water and the miso paste, stirring to break up the miso. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for about 20 minutes, or until all the excess water is gone and the grain is tender.

Remove from the heat, add the hemp oil, rice wine vinegar and nori powder, and mix well. Top with green onions and serve warm.
