DIY Hydration

Making a premium superfood electrolyte drink is simple. Here’s a flexible recipe that you can make at home to create a great tasting, super-hydrating beverage that’s perfect for sports, hydrating in the heat, fighting sickness, or just to enjoy!


2 Cups filtered water
2 Tbsp Navitas Naturals Coconut Water Powder
1 Tbsp fresh Lemon or Lime Juice
2 Tbsp Navitas Naturals Chia Seeds
Sweetener, to taste (such as coconut sugar or stevia)


In a shaker cup or jar, combine the water, coconut water powder, lemon/lime juice and chia seeds, then stir or shake very well to break apart the seeds and avoid clumping. Let rest for 15-20 minutes to let the seeds swell. Once the seeds are swollen, shake the rested beverage once more, and sweeten to taste. Best served cold, over ice.

Chef's Notes

Variation: Add a spoonful of your favorite superfruit powder for extra benefits, such as pomegranate powder, or wheatgrass powder.
