Chocolate Matzo Crisps

Turn matzo into a superfood dessert (or sweet snack) with this simple recipe. 


6 squares salted Matzo Squares
1 Cup dairy–free Chocolate Chips
3 Tbsp Navitas Naturals Hemp Seeds
3 Tbsp Navitas Naturals Cacao Nibs
3 Tbsp Navitas Naturals Goji Berries


Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Pour the chocolate chips into a small saucepan, and melt over low heat, stirring, until completely melted. Remove from heat.

Place 2 matzo squares on the prepared baking pan. Drizzle with a several spoonfuls of chocolate, then lightly sprinkle with 1 tablespoon each hemp seeds, cacao nibs and goji berries. Transfer the matzo to a countertop or cutting board to allow the chocolate to cool and harden (squares may be placed in the freezer for faster solidification). Repeat with the remaining matzo squares.

Once the chocolate is hard, break the matzo into large shards, and serve.

Chef's Notes
