Goldenberry Coconut Frosting

Coconut sugar makes this frosting extra sweet – making it the perfect thin drizzle on top of cupcakes, donuts or scones.


½ Cup Arrowroot Powder
1 Cup Navitas Naturals Coconut Palm Sugar
3 Tbsp Navitas Naturals Goldenberry Powder
¼ cup Coconut Oil, melted
1 cup organic Vanilla Soy Yogurt, or Coconut Yogurt
⅓ Cup unsweetened dried Coconut Shreds, plus additional for decoration
1½ tsp Almond Extract
pinch Sea Salt
Navitas Naturals Goldenberries, for decoration (optional)


Combine the arrowroot powder, coconut sugar, and goldenberry powder in a food processor and blitz to combine. Add the remaining ingredients and process until whipped together.

Drizzle over desired dessert, and decorate with extra coconut shreds and goldenberries. Refrigerate for 1 hour to allow the frosting to set.

Chef's Notes

Make it right before you are ready to use it – the frosting is most malleable when fresh, and designed to harden slightly once it sets in the refrigerator.

Unused frosting may be refrigerated for up to one week. Gently heat on the stovetop to soften before spreading on dessert.
