Pure Cacao is the Secret
½ melted Cup Butter
½ blanched Almond Flour
½ Cup Walnuts, optional
⅓ Cup Navitas Naturals Cacao Powder
¼ tsp Baking Powder
¼ tsp real Salt
1 Cup Navitas Naturals Coconut Palm Sugar, or ½ Cup Palm Sugar + ½ Cup Raw Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
Blend melted butter, sugar, vanilla in a bowl. Add eggs, mix well with a spoon.
In a separate bowl combine flour, cacao powder, baking powder and salt. Gradually blend into egg mixture. Stir in nuts if using.
Spread into a buttered 9 inch square (8 inch works too, just needs baking a little longer) glass pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until it pulls away from the edges. Cool completely in the pan.
