Superfood Energy

Energy bars, like smoothies, are the perfect opportunity to fuel up your body with the condensed nutrition of superfoods. Use the recipe below as a starting point, and feel free to add in whatever power foods you crave to make YOUR ultimate superfood energy bar. Double, triple, even quadruple this recipe and keep in wrapped individual portions in the freezer until needed.


½ Cup Navitas Naturals Antioxidant Superfruit Blend (or other twister blend*)
¼ Cup Navitas Naturals Hemp Seeds
¼ Cup Buckwheat Groats (spouted preferred, dry ok)
2 Tbsp Navitas Naturals Chia Seed Sprouted Powder
1 Cup Navitas Naturals Trail Mix (3 Berry-Cacao Nib-Cashew) (or try another great blend)
4 Dates
1 tsp Lemon Juice


* or try 1/2 cup pomegranate powder, goji powder, acai powder or 1 Tbsp. camu powder

Grind all ingredients together in a food processer. The dough may be left slightly crunchy for a bar with more texture. Remove from food processor and knead to ensure ingredients are uniformly combined. Form into a large patty, and cut into bars.

Makes 4 - 6 bars

Yield: 4-6 bars
