Acai Soft Serve
Brazilian Inspired Gelato
Because all bananas are different in terms of sweetness, add more or less maple syrup to taste (or use stevia for even less sugar).
¼ Cup Navitas Naturals Acai Powder
4 frozen Bananas
1 Tbsp Maple Syrup, or additional to taste
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Place about a cup of the bananas into a food processor fitted with the “S” blade, and add the acai, maple syrup and vanilla. Turn on the machine to begin blending, and slowly add the remaining banana chunks while the machine is running. Process for about a minute, until frosty and smooth (some larger bananas pieces may be left as chunks for texture), and turn off machine – do not over-process or the bananas will become overly melted. Transfer to a serving container and enjoy at once. Or, cover and return to the freezer until ready to serve. Gelato is texturally best when consumed right away.
