Sesame Mulberry Slaw

Sweet and Tangy

A wonderful sweet and tangy slaw recipe to complement savory dishes.


⅓ cup Navitas Naturals Mulberries
1½ lb Green Cabbage, shredded
4 Carrots, grated
¼ cup Tamari
3 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
½ tsp toasted Sesame Oil
⅓ cup toasted Sesame Seeds


Place the mulberries in a food processor, and pulse several times to chop into fine bits and chunks. Set aside.

In a large bowl, mix the cabbage and carrots together. In a small bowl, whisk the tamari, apple cider vinegar, mustard, and oil together to combine. Add to the vegetables, along with the chopped mulberries and sesame seeds. Mix well. Cover, and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours to let the flavors combine. Will keep for up to 1 week, refrigerated.

Yield: 6-8 Servings
