Here’s why this smoothie is so beneficial to runners & energy seekers in general:

Our base liquid is coconut water, full of electrolytes, vitamin C, and a range of other nutrients to keep your body hydrated. This is key, especially on race day! Coconut water lends a sweet flavor to the smoothie, and along with bananas, this smoothie is full of flavor, smooth texture, and is rich in potassium.

Sprouted chia powder offers an excellent source of nutrition with antioxidants, easily digestible protein and fiber. This superfood keeps you feeling full without that bloated feeling, so it doesn’t slow you down.

Our berries of choice are blueberries and acai, both renowned for their abundance of antioxidants.

Acai has an energizing effect without the crash of caffeine, giving our smoothie a a grape purple color. The anthocyanins in acai promote circulation which keep oxygen flowing efficiently throughout hard-working bodies. They also help reduce inflammation after racing.

Sweetened with dates, our smoothie makes the most of natural sugars.
